DEFINITION
Encoder Box (EB)
It consists of 16 of Encoder Board and 1 Spare Board. (EB) handles
compressing display signal
from 16 channels, stores them , then transfers into Decoder
Box.
Decoder
Box (DB)
It consists of 16 of Decoder Board and 1 Spare Board. It performs
outputting images from 16 channels.
ViewStation (VS)
It consists of Decoder Box and Monitoring PC.
It performs to output not only images but sound and supports
Search and Play and handles the
setting for Encoder and Decoder.
ViewHandler (VH)
It performs to pass orders to Decoder Box.
Central Monitoring System (CMS) : It performs to pass orders
and status for all Network devices.
HeadQuarter (HQ)
It performs to check the status of Encoder,Decoder
Viewstation and all related devices, and pass orders to devices.
Network Attached Storage (NAS)
NAS is featured file server to be connected to Network.
It works through Lan protocol such as TCP/IP and Ethernet.
It handles file in/out request
which is in a format of NFS for Unix and CIFS for Window.
